Meet Nicholas! Nicholas and other children with NGLY1 need your help! | Bergen Moms Network

In my recent Meet a Mom, Meet Annie post, I mentioned a close friend who’s nephew has been diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder.  So without further ado, Id like to introduce you to this sweet boy.

Meet Nicholas Suffy!  This beautiful smiling boy has been diagnosed with NGLY-1.  NGLY-1 is a disorder where a child inherits a mutated gene from both parents which causes the child to have proteins in their bodies that cannot remove excess sugar.  This can cause a child to have a lifetime of debilitating and isolating symptoms.  I am asking you to consider donating to the Grace Science Foundation so Nicholas and others like him can go to a clinical trial to treat this disorder within the next two years.

If you would like to learn more about Nicholas, his family, or donate to this incredible foundation to help Nicholas, and other beautiful children like him, please go to:

Suffy Family Fundraising Page

At the request of his Mother & Father  Vanessa & Scott, please leave your name so they can express their gratitude.

Thank you!
